How to sell overlay spots on Twitch

What a spot is

A spot is a box on a 1920×1080 overlay: position, size, price, duration. Your public page lists those boxes. A brand pays, uploads a PNG, JPEG, or WebP, and — on the free plan — you review it before it can go on stream.

Purchased time starts only when you are live and the overlay is loaded. Go offline and the remainder waits. Checkout is not a countdown clock.

Who this is for

Twitch streamers who already go live in OBS and have empty canvas — a corner, a strip under the cam, a bar at the bottom. If you refuse logos on screen, this is the wrong product.

Price it like a product

You do not have CPM data from this yet. Start with one readable placement, not a kit of twelve. A first price that people actually pay is €10–€25 for 1–3 hours on a corner or bottom spot. Raise it after two sales.

Do not invent viewer numbers. The page already says BrandMyStream does not guarantee audience, clicks, or sales. If you are small, say so. Brands that want a media package will not be convinced by adjectives.

Logos live on a transparent Browser Source. Without it on the scene you actually stream, the buyer paid for a box that never appears.

2. OBS → Sources → Browser → Add
3. Width 1920, height 1080
4. Keep that source on the live scene
5. Leave “Shutdown source when not visible” unchecked if the logo should stay ready when you cut back

After someone pays

Open Sponsors. Look at the file. Approve or reject. Then go live on Twitch (detected automatically) or click Go live to test. Status becomes On stream. Time left only drops in that state.

What we do not do

We do not find brands for you, run ads, or turn the logo into a tracked banner network. The overlay is a picture on stream. The destination URL is stored with the purchase; it is not an impression-counted ad server.
