Privacy Policy

BrandMyStream is the service at brandmystream.app. The operator of this site is the controller of personal data described here. Write to nico@pourquoi.app.

This policy covers streamers who create an account, brands who buy a spot, and anyone who visits the site. Related rules for using the product are in the Terms of Service.

Streamer accounts. Email, password (stored hashed by our auth provider), display name, public page URL, Twitch username, optional avatar, payment link, and Pro billing status.

Brand purchases. Brands do not create an account. We store the reserved spot, amount, payment reference, brand name, website, short pitch, and logo file after they upload it. The brand pays the streamer off this platform. We do not receive, hold, or refund that money. See the Terms of Service for who is responsible for payments, display, and whether a logo may appear on stream.

Twitch. We look up the channel you enter (to confirm it exists) and poll live status and viewer count so purchased time runs only while the stream is live. Public streamer pages may embed the Twitch player.

Pro billing. If you subscribe, Stripe processes the card. We keep Stripe customer and subscription IDs on your profile so we can keep Pro in sync.

Technical data. Server logs may include IP address, user agent, and the page requested, for a short time, to run and secure the site.

• Create your public page, overlay, and dashboard (contract).
• Show payment instructions to brands and let you confirm a payout (contract).
• Display an approved logo on the overlay and public page (contract).
• Bill Pro subscriptions through Stripe (contract).
• Detect live sessions on Twitch so timers start and pause correctly (contract and legitimate interest).
• Prevent abuse, keep the service available, and answer support mail (legitimate interest).

We use cookies that are required to sign you in and keep a dashboard session (Supabase auth cookies). We do not set advertising cookies, and we do not currently run a third-party analytics pixel.

If a public page embeds a Twitch player, Twitch may set its own cookies under Twitch’s privacy notice.

We do not sell personal data. We use processors to run the product:

• Supabase — accounts, database, and file storage (EU region).
• Stripe — Pro subscription payments. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
• Twitch — channel lookup, live status, and optional player embed.
• Vercel — hosting and delivery of the site.

A brand’s name, website, pitch, and logo are shown to the streamer so they can approve the placement. An approved logo appears on the live overlay and may appear on the public streamer page. A streamer’s display name, avatar, Twitch channel, and listed spots are public. The streamer’s payout link is shown to the brand on the payment page.

Account and profile data last for as long as the account exists. Sponsorship records and logos are kept for the life of that purchase and a reasonable period after, so streamers can see history and we can handle disputes. Server logs are rotated on a short cycle. Stripe keeps billing records under its own retention rules.

If you are in the EEA, UK, or a similar jurisdiction, you can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, restrict or object to certain processing, and receive a copy of data you provided. You can also complain to your local data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

Email nico@pourquoi.app from the address on the account when you can. Deleting a streamer account removes the public page and overlay data we hold. We may keep limited billing records where the law requires it.

Brands without an account can ask us to remove a logo or brand details we still store. We will also point you to the streamer when they are the one displaying the creative.

BrandMyStream is for people who can enter a contract to sell or buy overlay spots. You must be at least 18 to create a streamer account or subscribe to Pro.

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date above and, when it makes sense, email streamers on the account address. Continued use after the update means you accept the revised policy.
